Many people play pétanque (boules) on holiday but don’t realise how widely it’s played here in the UK. In addition to the wide choice of PE affiliated clubs, there are many other opportunities to enjoy the sport. We have listed below the mainly non-affiliated clubs that collectively make up the pub based league that plays pétanque in the Severn Valley part of the HoEPA region. Our aim is to help promote our sport as widely as possible and help those wishing to find the opportunity to play locally.
For players in the SVPL area who also wish to participate in PE events and gain the various benefits of PE (Pétanque England) membership, they can take out their PE licence and affiliate with the Heart of England without requiring to join a Club that is Heart of England affiliated.
